SLOWDANCE / SOUNDS THROUGH AN OPEN WINDOW
Museum Performance, 2020
The term ‘slow dance’ is used both as a title and gathering term for dance that resonates with the wider genre of Slow Art: an art movement of embodied watching that calls attention to the experience of time unfolding. Placed in an exhibition space this iteration of SLOWDANCES traces kaleidoscopic patterns of two dancers amidst a minimalist celestial soundscape.
Artistic Direction / Choreography / Performance Hana Erdman & Louise Dahl
Floor piece Marika Troili & ALICE FINE
Supported by the Swedish Arts Grants Committee, the Swedish Church Co-production Hallen (Stockholm), Central Finland Art Exhibition.
